In 2015, I got fully involved in the world of personnel selection by working for a Headhunter in Madrid. At that time, of course, I knew very little about people, selection and that this experience would mark my business.
During that stage I managed many selection processes and I realized that:
The time I spent filtering candidates was too long and my decisions were based too much on intuition.
Then I discovered the world of software, which fascinated me completely because of its ability to solve real problems in companies and, above all, because of its scalability.
Years later I brought an Asian business to Spain where, among my responsibilities, I again had to select the team.
At this point… I thought I had a golden intuition, but it wasn't like that, because I made a mistake with part of the staff and I had to fire part of the staff. With this I discovered a great maxim that until then I had not given all the importance it deserves. “Business is People”.
If you have an extraordinary team you will get extraordinary results but if on the contrary your team is mediocre your company will not shine.
So… Hirint is born from my own personal/professional experience, in which I detect some inefficiencies: bottlenecks and a great deal of subjectivity.
This mix of experiences together with the conviction that the most important thing in a company is its people led me to create Hirint, a tool that allows Empowering talent departments with a clear purpose: Helping companies discover the best talent and people discover their potential.
For me, the most important soft skills are leadership, results-orientation, teamwork, initiative and communication. I believe that these skills are key to success in today's business environment, as they contribute to improved relationships, effective leadership, adaptation to change and problem-solving.
